28/06/25

Karibu Kwetu Solar Trading (KKST) had the immense honour of sponsoring the Miss NGO Namibia Top 10 Finalist Crowning Ceremony, held in Windhoek on 29/06/25. The evening was a vibrant celebration of purpose, power, and presence — spotlighting young women who are actively shaping the future of Namibia through advocacy and leadership.

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including:

  • Her Excellency Lucia Witbooi, Vice President of the Republic of Namibia, who delivered the keynote address

  • Hon. Sanet Steenkamp, Minister of Education, Arts and Culture

  • Hon. Prof. Peter Katjavivi, Former Speaker of the National Assembly

  • Members of the diplomatic corps, representing countries from Germany to Nigeria

  • Other distinguished leaders from government, civil society, and the private sector

As a social enterprise dedicated to powering education, healthcare, and community development through solar energy, KKST is deeply committed to platforms that elevate women, youth, and grassroots innovation.

The Miss NGO Namibia initiative aligns with our mission to foster leadership, dignity, and opportunity — especially among the next generation of changemakers.

“Our sponsorship is more than symbolic — it’s a reflection of our belief in the power of women to lead, inspire, and transform,” said Aliela Muyembe, CEO of Karibu Kwetu Solar Trading.

We look forward to continuing to support impactful initiatives that align with our values and vision for a sustainable, equitable future.
