The Karibu Kwetu Solar Trading (KKST) team recently had the honour of meeting and dining with Hon. John Julius //Khmuseb, the newly appointed Governor of Otjozondjupa Region.

During this high-level engagement, KKST presented the Sirimba Model — a solar-financed, community-owned infrastructure platform designed to deliver sustainable education, energy access, and local development. The discussion focused on its pilot implementation at KJ Kapeua Combined School in Ovitoto.

We are proud to confirm that Governor //Khmuseb has expressed his full support and endorsement of the initiative. A formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is currently being prepared to anchor this collaboration and advance regional development goals.

This marks a significant milestone in our mission to deliver inclusive, locally driven infrastructure that empowers underserved communities across Namibia.
